Forever Young

I had the opportunity to do the Youngs family photo's acutally not just 1 Young family but 2 family's of Youngs! It was a huge group of Young people, which was super nice for me since I have been feeling so old lately. The Don and Sara Young family will be moving to Texas next month and they wanted to get family photo's done at the beach before they took off. Don has 1 brother and they thought it would be nice to get a few group shots together before they were seperated. It was a joy to do these photo's. The kids were GREAT, the weather was AMAZING, the company was wonderful and I hope you think the shots are good, enjoy!

Maddy, Brandon, and Jake are my childhood buddy Amber Sorenson (Snyder)'s cute little kids. Brooke and I had a play date recently at their house and did the kid's photo's that day as well. They were a joy to shoot, especially Brandon who I am convinced is the first male America's Next Top Model. He had the poses down pat, I did not have to guide him one bit. Jacob was the typical 1 year old, who we had to bribe to sit in one spot while my shutter went crazy in those short moments. Maddy is the sweetest thing! Such a good and mothering girl. Amber and Tom are so lucky to have such cool and entertaining little kids! Thanks for choosing me Am Shut!

This photo shoot was a ton of fun! Jillian was cracking me up the entire time because she was constantly thinking she was hearing things in the weeds and FREAKING OUT! She was SURE she was going to be bitten by a snake! I enjoyed torturing her and capturing her stunning beauty at the same time! I had the wonderful opportunity to do a photo shoot for my friend Nicki of her beautiful 2 month old little girl Mckynlee. I had so much fun with her and still just can not get enough of how stinking beautiful and cute she is! My camera loved her as well as me. I got to do pictures of little Jalen Anderson just a few days ago. It was SO NICE to see Janitsy and Nathaniel and meet little Jalen! We had a great time taking pics and an even funnier time laughing at the fact that every single time Nathaniel held Jalen he got peed on! It was actually kinda sad, but quite funny! He must be really, really relaxed in his daddy's arms! Here is a sneek peek. I do not think it is fair to post like crazy all the pics I love till Mommy and Daddy get to see them first, and post theirs first. So mommy and daddy your CD will be in the mail tomorrow (as well as your shirt that you left at me casa)! Hope you all love um! I DO!

This is by far my favorite photo shoot I have EVER done. The lighting was natural and it just worked out perfectly for what I was going for! We had so much fun the whole time we were shooting as well! Amanda and Todd look like Models in most of the shots which was fun for me! Little Makenna the BIG SIS is also an amazingly beautiful little subject as well. All in all the perfect shoot. Enjoy the MANY MANY photos I have to post because I LOVE THEM ALL!

Patel Wedding

I was so happy to have had the opportunity to do the photography for my friends Dev and Lisa Patel on their wedding day. The San Diego temple is such an amazing place to shoot and on top of that it was a perfect day outside. It was quite hot outside so I give all those guys in tuxes props for hanging in there in the heat with such good attitudes.
Dev and Lisa were a joy to shoot and are just so obviously in love! Congrats to the newlyweds!

This wedding was beautiful. It was at a restaurant called Castaways out in San Bernadino and what a great location it was. This was my first wedding that I had ever done that was spoken all in Spanish. It was a little hard to figure out when big moments like "and you may kiss your bride" were going to happen, but I managed and got all of the shots I needed. During this wedding I enjoyed shooting all the details of the wedding and the things that really went into making the day the beautiful and unique day it was. The kids there were so photogenic as well and made for some fun shots. Here are a few from the day.

In Sickness & In Health

I recently had the privilege of shooting the wedding of John and Ashly. It was such an amazing experience, the location was absolutely beautiful, but what made this day the most incredible is the love this couple has for one another.
In the world these days, unfortunately there are so many marriages that fail, it was so refreshing to see a couple that I know without a doubt will make it through thick and thin together.
John has a fatal disease, I want to say it is Lung Cancer but I do not know the details. He is on the transplant list but he is getting to the point where it is a concern that he is even going to make it till the transplant. We were notified before the wedding that it might need to be canceled or postponed due to this problem. If John was still here and was not getting the transplant the wedding would be a go. Thank goodness all went well and they were able to go ahead with their big day!
The wedding was a big and beautiful wedding! The ceremony was absolutely amazing and was so touching. When it came time to say the vows it became quite emotional when having to repeat the line, "In sickness and in health, I will love and honor you all the days of my life!" Wow, I still get goosebumps thinking about it! John had to wear an oxygen tank most of the evening and had to spend most of the time sitting down. But he truly was a champ! It must have been such an exhausting day for him but he did his very best to keep a smile on his face.
I have so much respect for this couple and pray that all goes well and that they are able to have a long beautiful life together because a love like this is SO RARE!

I had the chance to shoot this beautiful wedding out in Hemet, CA at fantastic location. I loved the top hats, the colors, the location, the music the DJ played, and the bride and groom were just amazing and fun. It was a blast to shoot this wedding. Enjoy!
